Our boys play their favorites. This is slightly different than most of our videos but our boys wanted to do their own thing and one of our Patrons also likes Minecraft and wanted to see this so we are happy to oblige.

ABOUT THIS VIDEO:
So the big question is how to help a child with aspergers sleep, or does melatonin for sleep help people on the autism spectrum?

There are a host of aspergers treatments and autism sleep medication around, but the big one everyone talks about is melatonin.

Melatonin is a hormone that regulates wakefulness, and is a top choice for people with aspergers in adults and parents of children with aspergers.

But does melatonin help people with aspergers sleep? I did a test an aspergers test if you will, to see if it worked and here is my video.

How to get an autistic child with aspergers to sleep? Maybe this is your way. I also have a video on an aspergers test you can watch here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WRxrX_Suygc&t=146s)

Lots of help care professionals will say that it will help you and your typical doctor can prescribe melatonin to a patient if they are in need off it and if they ask for it.

Lots of people including those with aspergers syndrome are wanting to be more natural and not medicated as much with drugs. Melatonin is not a drug and is a natural occurring hormone, this is why it may be more popular with people on the autism spectrum.

I created a video about autism and medication you can check out here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=raR0em-WtpM&t=27s).

Do I think melatonin helps aspergers and sleep in adults, I would say yes due to the data I collected through my small controlled test. So I would say aspergers melatonin for sleep is a good way to go to help any one on the spectrum sleep or any one who aligns with aspergers symptoms.

Whether you were diagnosed with autism as a child or align with mild aspergers symptoms in adults, I would recommend just checking out melatonin to see if it can help you.

This is also true for parents who are always looking for how to get an autistic child to sleep, again i think melatonin may be awesome in that help.

Melatonin For Sleep is an excellent hack, and also melatonin for kids is super common so it is worth checking out.

Video:Spectrum- Webinar: Patricia Braga discusses stem-cell models of autism

Video:Spectrum- Webinar: Patricia Braga discusses stem-cell models of autism

On 12 December, Patricia Braga described her studies of autism involving stem cells.

You can watch the complete replay above.

Here’s how Braga describes what she discussed in this webinar:

Despite progress over the past decade uncovering the genetic and environmental roots of autism, many questions remain unanswered about how autism manifests in the brain. In particular, we don’t understand the brain mechanisms underlying social behaviors in autism. Ideally, to answer this question we would study the brain while the cells are alive and communicating with one another. That is where stem-cell models come in.

In this webinar, I will discuss how my lab creates live stem-cell models of autism. I will discuss the potential of reprogrammed cells as 2-D and 3-D models for investigating neurological conditions. In addition, I will talk about work my lab is doing to explore how an individual’s genetic background may shape autism, and how different environmental influences on the developing brain may be connected to autism.

Video:Adults with Autism- Looking for Normal book launch video

Video:Adults with Autism- Looking for Normal book launch video

Diagnosed with autism at the age of 48: Steve’s remarkable, and darkly humorous memoir is a must-read for anyone with an interest in a condition that is estimated to affect around 3% of children in the United States.
In addition, there are untold numbers of adults on the autistic spectrum, and many more who are likely to remain undiagnosed.

Looking For Normal begins at a time before autism was a diagnosable condition. It provides a rare insight into children’s mental health services in the 1960s, and describes Steve’s journey through adolescence and adulthood; finally receiving an autism diagnosis in 2008.

This book will be hugely helpful for anyone suspecting they have undiagnosed autism, and an extremely useful guide for people attempting to understand their autistic partner’s “less than typical” behaviour. Looking For Normal will also be an extremely beneficial read for parents struggling to see the world through their autistic child’s eyes.

Readers will be informed, entertained and inspired by Steve’s brutally honest tale of life through the complex lens of autism, OCD and depression. His story may be unique, but his symptoms are not.
