Blog:Neuro Wonderful- Are you OK?

Anonymous asked: Are you OK?

Nope. I got a (small, weird, fairly rare) cancer and had to have (minor) surgery, which started a domino effect of bad-health stuff. Sorry, friends. I’m really trying, I promise, but lately I’ve mostly been staying alive. I love you guys.

Blog:Neuro Wonderful- I have enjoyed your YouTube channel very much and it has definitely opened my eyes. My autistic son turns 3 years old in August. I wanted to make a documentary film on the third year if his life I will be shooting film for the whole year. I want to spread acceptance, help anyway I can, and show the world that autism is not a burden. I wanted to ask you a few questions about my film if you are interested.

Blog:Neuro Wonderful- How important is it to have official diagnoses? I am older (and a woman), which means that getting diagnoses early in life was highly likely. I have been diagnosed with depression and anxiety, but I have not been diagnosed with autism or ADD, which I believe is very likely and has been confirmed on several online tests. I'd love to know if you think that diagnoses are instrumental or are not necessary and why.
