Let’s talk about the astounding similarities between cats and autistic people, and how we should make them the official autism mascot instead of that godawful puzzle piece

Oh man, now you’ve got me going!

Firstly, cats stim. They purr, swish their tails and knead their paws against pillows, blankets, and other soft things. Many cats actively seek out sensory experiences, like listening to birds singing, lying in a sunbeam, rolling against the grass,

I am wearing my eyeglasses and smiling while looking down.]

I love this shirt. I get into fights with ableists over this shirt. It’s a good shirt.

Blog:Neuro Wonderful- I'm a psych major (im not nt for what it's worth) and you're 100% correct. 1.) the ableism is baked into the material, from beginning to end. I have to actively try to not get angry in class because it's Bad(tm). 2.) in one of my classes we had to answer a question “why you want to be a psychology major?” and almost everybody said “to find out how the human mind works” and only me and two other ppl said “to help people”. be very wary of those people. Very. Wary. Indeed.

Blog:Neuro Wonderful- Hi Amythest, I don't know if you're much of a podcast person but I've been listening to In Sickness + In Health lately, and it's really interesting. It's all about living with chronic illness and disability, and people's experiences with different conditions, doctors, healthcare etc. It's a really good listen, and I thought some of your followers might be interested

Blog:Neuro Wonderful- Phoenix: Dawn Command – “What kills you makes you stronger.”

I’m looking for players for a game of Phoenix: Dawn Command in Langley, BC!

Do you like imaginative fantasy and exciting new RPGs? Do you want to try a novel game with no character sheets, no dice, and no experience point system, in which the only way to level up is to die? Me too!

If you’re a respectful human being who is local and would feel at home at an inclusive gaming table, you can
