Blog:Aspie.com- Autism and Suicide Crisis Support

Autistic populations typically present atypical behaviors when faced with a crisis. The behaviors may be attributed to a host of assumptions that leave the struggling person anywhere from ignored, to misunderstood, to in a life-threatening crisis mode. The suicide ideation rates are extremely high among autistics and the actual numbers of autistic persons who were lost to suicide is at best, a guess given so many people remain undiagnosed or misdiagnosed. Video:The Aspie World- LIVING With AUTISM – How To ADHD Interview: (Real Life Experience)

Video:The Aspie World- LIVING With AUTISM – How To ADHD Interview: (Real Life Experience)

Living with autism may be difficult for people, here I discuss my personal story of growing up and living with autism in my life experience from an interview with Jess from How To ADHD.

How To ADHD: http://bit.ly/2HE4T0R

Living with autism can be a struggle and also manageable if you know how. I try my best every day to make living with autism not a struggle for me because I want to improve all the time.

I am sharing in this video what it is like living with autism from my perspective, not a BBC documentary or a short film, but a real life sit down conversation about living with autism and having an autism spectrum disorder.

Lots of people want to know what it’s like to live with autism, and what does autism look like. Well to be honest it is just like anyone else, living with autism is different to that of a neurotypical person but it is just as diverse as any other condition in the world.

I find that autism and Aspergers Syndrome are superpowers and thus can be empowering. I talk about these “autism symptoms” in this interview and how they impact living with autism.

So what is life like for autistic people and people on the autism spectrum as a whole? It is simple, everyone is individual and that is no exception for autism. Like you have heard before, if you have met one person with autism you have only met one person with autism.

People are so diverse with their needs, that every experience of living with autism is different for everyone.

So for me and my experience this is real life for me and this is what living with autism is to me. Please share this video if you think that it could benefit the life of an autistic person.

Video:Agony Autie- RELAXING VISUAL STIMS | What’s That?!

Stimming can be a useful tool! Do you visually stim too? If so, what are YOUR visual stims?

PHOTOSENSITIVE & SENSORY WARNING: glimmering lights

Everyone stims differently, uniquely and sometimes discreetly. But for autistic people, such as myself, stimming can be a vital part of our daily lives.

It’s frustrating that my stimming is often misinterpreted for daydreaming, boredom or me being “just plain rude!”

But I can promise, however, that I actually can listen without giving you my eyes – in fact, I process what you are saying much more clearly when I look away and stim as you are talking. Often my mind imagines what you are saying in the form of pictures/video.

Listening is with the ears and mind afterall…not the eyes.

This video was Sponsored by Guyatt House Care who financed the production of this video. They have hired me to meet and deliver training next month in our first booking event and are proud “Embracers of the Stim”. #sponsorship #sponsor #sponsoredvideo #promotion

Polar Moon very kindly sent us a free “Roly Moly” as a Stim Gift. I plan to do a review in the next month #freebie #review

Please consider supporting me and my husband with the work we produce at Agony Autie by becoming a Facebook Subscriber for extra Live Discussions or Patreon for Previews and Live Uploads.

Video:Our AUsome Life- ECHOLALIA IS HOW ONE OF MY AUTISTIC DAUGHTERS COMMUNICATES

Kenzlee is not fully verbal and not exactly non-verbal. She has some language. It isn’t always functional but I am always encouraging and prompting her to speak and answer questions. Most of the time she is echoing and repeating what I say as a form of communication.

Kaden (12), Jaelee (11), and Kenzlee (4).
Each of the kids are on the autism spectrum and have been diagnosed with other special needs as well.
Autism doesn’t have a look and despite the challenges we live an AUSOME life.
