Video:Fathering Autism- You Can’t Use That Word!!!

The girls told them, “You can’t use that word!”It takes a lot of bravery to stand up to people and tell them when what they are doing is wrong. Especially when they don’t even realize what’s wrong about it. They chose to be advocates and educate others and I’m so proud of them. There are words that are extremely offensive to the special needs community. Kylie and Summer find out first hand that there is still so much that needs to be done for autism acceptance, autism awareness, and special needs acceptance in general. Words can hurt and we should all be more mindful of hurting others. I’m so proud of them for standing up for our girl and others.
