The weather is getting quite fresh in the mornings now and overnight it is supposed to be the coldest May record in decades. One thing I will be enjoying is snuggling in bed and not having

Treatment of autism is a difficult subject to talk about as some people are more for medically treating autism with medication and others lean towards autism treatment at home for autistic people.

I personally use a combination of therapy and food to help me and my Asperger syndrome, but I know others with Asperges’s syndrome that rely on medication.

This time we have a guest on The Aspie World talking about how the UK vs US in it’s treatment of autism and what you should know about it.

Covering, everything from the medical industry’s autism treatment to how society and the general public treat people with an autism spectrum disorder.

Video:Jason Love- Family Empowerment Day | Update on Autism A La Mode | Love Family VLog

Video:Jason Love- Family Empowerment Day | Update on Autism A La Mode | Love Family VLog

We go to another event this week. This one is called Family Empowerment Day. The kids had a blast and got to play in a bunch of inflatable bounce houses.

While it was fun to Storm Troopers, Jedi Knights, and other characters; this event was not autism friendly. Everett had to leave within the first 15 minutes.

Evelyn is normally an outgoing and love being around other kids, but with her sensory sensitivity, she was struggling. The opportunity to play with play-dough made the event a bit more bearable.

We don’t blame the event because they have to work with what they have, but the smallness of the venue, lack of quiet areas, and the loud speakers projecting through the entire building made it impossible for sensory sensitive individuals and those with autism to stay very long.
