It’s hard getting through to people. 

Hard getting them to understand how much I can cope with; how much I can tolerate. 

It’s harder when you’re masking and you don’t want the mask to slip but you find yourself in situations that are extremely uncomfortable and you feel very trapped.

So the big Harry Potter event I have been both looking forward to/worrying about is coming up on the 13th of October.  I even got a part time job, which I quite after two days because I couldn’t handle it, to help pay for the expense.  I made enough to cover my ticket, gas and hotel share  because I was so anxious about running out of money.

Nbcchicago.com: 2 Classroom Aides Suspended After Student With Autism Struck in Class, CPS Says

Two classroom aides have been suspended by Chicago Public Schools after an incident last week involving a student with autism, the school district said. 

CPS investigators said a 7-year-old boy was struck by a first-grade classroom aide on Sept. 19 in his special education class at Hendrick’s Elementary Community Academy.
