Our 12 year old daughter is severely autistic and happy. The term severe autism can carry a negative tone but I use it as a descriptive term because of the…well, spectrum of autism spectrum disorder. If you take away anything from this vlog I want you to know that despite the challenges we face in life it is possible to be severely happy. Are you happy enough to dance in the shower?

Video:Lookyus- Tommy sings “Adel is So Chill” a parody of Cruella De Vil

Video:Lookyus- Tommy sings “Adel is So Chill” a parody of Cruella De Vil

Lyrics (sung to the tune of Cruella De Vil)
“Adel is so chill
Adel is so chill
If she doesn’t calm you
No service dog will
To meet her is to take a sudden chill pill
Adel is, Adel is so chill
Her red working vest
Performing her tasks
All interested children
Can pet if they ask
She’s always there and gentle as a pill-ow
No doubt that Adel is so chill!
At first you think Adel’s is a retriever
But after time has worn away the soot
You come to realize
She’s been wearing a disguise
And really she has spots from head to foot!
She’s Tommy’s best friend, She’s there by his side
She helps keep him safe and she fills him with pride
The world was such a stressful place until
Adel, Adel and her chill!”
Tommy’s friends near and far are all invited to join Tommy on September 24, 2017, in person or online as a virtual team member, to support the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides!

Thank you to Laura Burns, the first person to join our team “Adel’s 101 donations”! Now it’s a growing team!!! [?]
Many thanks to Michele Simpson and all the other volunteer organizers for making Tommy and Adel the Honorary Walkers on September 24!
Here is a message from Tommy: “This Tommy! Adel is my shining gleaming black Labrador Retriever Autism Assistance Dog Guide, but she’s really a dalmatian covered in soot, hiding from Cruella Devil! Adel is my very best friend, and she keeps me safe and I would like other people with autism to have a dog like Adel. I would also like other people to have a wonderful dog like Adel to help them with vision, hearing, epilepsy, diabetes, and wheelchairs! If you would like to walk with me and Adel on September 24, 2017, join my team called Adel’s 101 Donations!!!! Together we can try to raise 101 Donations for the Lions Foundation! You will be helping me to help others have dogs like Adel! Thanks! Whee! PS. Watch out for Cruella!!!”
Cruella might just make an appearance! (Note: if it’s your fondest wish to play the role of Cruella, we have a very convincing costume ready and waiting and are taking auditions!! ). All walkers on Tommy and Adel’s team are invited to wear black (to hide covered in soot) or white t-shirts with Dalmatian spots…if you are very very brave!!!!

Blog:Pharaohs World!- The joys of interaction

Two weeks ago I joined a group.

We had a common goal which, whilst not important in the grand scheme of things, would keep us occupied.

Welcome to the world of online gaming and the Clan!

I’m not very good at games. That’s okay. I’m 51 and use them to chill. I’m not into being the best or breaking records. They’re a wind down after a tough day at work. They aren’t serious. Or, they
