At the race kit pickup for the Canada Army Run, Tommy met lots of Canadian soldiers, his former running partner Larry Abbot 2:14 at his Mizuno booth, then Rebecca 3:56 at the Run Ottawa booth, then Ben Kaplan 5:20 and Mark Sutcliffe 5:54 at the iRun booth (Ben wrote the story for iRun magazine this issue with Tommy on the cover, and Mark interviewed Tommy for Rogers Ottawa) and then Ari 7:50 from Zizu who sponsor Tommy with amazing Zizu sunglasses, and then Tommy got super excited to meet his former teacher Duane Ferris 8:58 and coach Pete Harrison 10:16 from Ottawa Technical Secondary School, and he jumped for joy! What a great day Tommy had meeting so many friends, new and old, as he prepared to race the half marathon!
